This Privacy Policy explains how ILMOTECH (Private) Limited ("ILMOTECH", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit www.ilmotech.com or contact us. We keep the data we collect to a minimum and handle it in line with the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws.

1. Who we are

ILMOTECH (Private) Limited is a private limited company registered in Pakistan with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (Company Registration No. (CUIN): 0332293; NTN: I826057), with its office at 5th Floor, Plaza #33, Wisteria Road, Giga Sector, DHA Phase II, Islamabad, Pakistan. ILMOTECH is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

2. Personal data we collect

Information you give us

  • Enquiries and call bookings: your name, email address, company name (optional), project type, timeline and the details you share about your project. The website itself keeps no database of enquiries: what you submit is sent to us as an email and held in our mailbox.
  • Emails and messages: the content of emails or WhatsApp messages you send us, together with your contact details.
  • Scheduling: when you book a call, the date, time and time zone you choose, and any notes you add.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical data: our hosting provider, Vercel, records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request) to keep the website secure and running.
  • Abuse prevention: when you submit the enquiry form, we check your IP address against recent submissions to limit automated abuse. It is held in memory only for that check, for a few minutes, and is never written to a file or a database.
  • Preferences: your light or dark theme choice is stored in your own browser and is not sent to us. If we enable analytics, the choice you make in the cookie banner is stored the same way.
  • Analytics (only with your consent): if we introduce website analytics, such as Google Analytics, we will only collect usage data (pages visited, approximate location, device type, referring site) after you agree through our cookie banner.

We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data, and we do not sell your personal data.

  • To respond to enquiries and arrange calls, based on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries.
  • To provide and manage our services once we work together, based on the performance of a contract.
  • To keep the website secure and working, based on our legitimate interest in protecting our systems.
  • To understand how the website is used, based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, based on legal obligation.

We will not send you marketing emails unless you have asked to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

4. Cookies and analytics

Our website currently sets no cookies at all, for advertising, tracking or any other purpose. If we add analytics in the future, those cookies will only be set after you give consent, and you can change your choice at any time. See our Cookie Policy for details.

5. Who we share data with

We share personal data only with trusted service providers who help us run our business and who process it on our instructions, such as:

  • website hosting and content delivery: Vercel;
  • delivery of enquiry emails: Resend;
  • online scheduling for call bookings: Cal.com;
  • analytics, only if you consent to it: Google Analytics;
  • the email and messaging services we use to reply to you, including WhatsApp if you contact us there;
  • professional advisers (such as accountants and lawyers), and authorities where the law requires it.

We will keep this list current. If we change a provider, this policy is updated with it.

Each provider is bound by contractual obligations to keep your data confidential and secure.

6. International transfers

ILMOTECH is based in Pakistan and works with team members and service providers in other countries, including the European Union. Where personal data from the EU or UK is transferred to a country without an adequacy decision, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep your data

  • Enquiries that do not lead to a project: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted.
  • Client and contract records: for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.
  • Server logs: for the short window our hosting provider keeps them, which is days rather than months, and in no case longer than 90 days.
  • Analytics data: no longer than 14 months, if analytics is enabled.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • ask us to delete your data;
  • restrict or object to how we process your data;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To use any of these rights, email info@ilmotech.com. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.

9. How we protect your data

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS enforced for every request), a content security policy that restricts what the site is allowed to load, no third-party scripts on page load, access controls and limiting access to people who need it. No online service is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will act promptly if a breach occurs.

10. Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with the date it was last updated.
